Sammendrag
At Nedre Mule in Byneset about 20 km west of Trondheim, a clay slide occurred on the 24th of May 1943, wasting 20 000 sq. m. of cultivated land. The ground slid into the fjord Gulosen. A mud flow was visible in the course of the slide, surrounded by a 8 a 10 m high precipice of firm clay. The locality is only a kilometer or two from the great clay at Brå, described in this puboication serieal no. 132. The district is most disposed to severe land slides. Even a hundred years ago Nedre Mule was hit by a slide, after which the cow stables had to be moved somewhat further back.
