Eocambrian conglomerates and arkoses were deposited on the Precambrian Jotun rocks. The subsequent polyphase structural evolution of this sequence to form the Grønsennknipa Nappe is described. The emplacement of this nappe over the phyllites of the Quartz Sandstone Nappe to its present position is shown to have occurred during the last movement phase recognized in the area.
