dc.description.abstract | The sedimentary basin off Norway wedges out near the Norwegian coastline. The ocean side of the sedimentary basin is in contact with oceanic crust along escarpments and the Jan Mayen Fracture Zone. The present study reveals that the contact zone between the crust of oceanic and continental origin on the continental margin may be very complex and difficult to identify confidently on the basis of work carried out to date. | |
