dc.description.abstractThe Rognsund intrusion is an early-Caledonian gabbroic body containing an 800 m thick sequence of metamorphosed cumulates. Well-developed rythmic layering is interpreted in terms of both in situ crystallization and deposition from crystal suspensions.
