dc.description.abstract	Within the Ofoten territory there are 5 good shore-lines as elsewhere in Northern Norway and besides these there is a 6th line farther to the north only observed near the heads of the fjords. These 6 lines have been measured by levellings in 37 localities within the said district. The measurements are listed in the table on pp 4-8. Only occasional observations of moraines are at hand.
