dc.description.abstract | Forkortet:\rThe Sveconorwegian pegmatite fields of Froland and Herefoss is located at the western edge of the Bamble terrane in southern Norway. The field comprises different pegmatite types which can be roughly classified as follows: (1) PGr - pegmatitic granites, (2) GP - granite pegmatites, (3) NaP - Plagioclase-dominant granitic pegmatites, (4) ZoP - zoned granitic pegmatites, (5) KP - K-feldspar-dominant granitic pegmatites, (6) PD - muscovites pegmatite\/granite dykes and (7) HP - zoned pegmatites related to the Herefoss pluton. Types (1) to (5) and (7) represent relative primitive pegmatites in respect to granitic differentation containing predominantly Fe phlogopite and Mg siderophyllite. Type (6) has an more evolved chemistry reflected by zinnwaldite. | |
