dc.description.abstractThe nearly vertical zinc and lead bearing veins that cut through Precambrian rocks near the Oslo region at Tråk in Bamle Southern Norway, are described. They can be followed for nearly 2.5 km. A younger introuded diabase is found in some of the veins. Ore minerals are sphalerite and galena with some pyrite and calcopyrite. Quartz is the dominant gangue mineral.
