Borehullslogging, Åknes, Stranda kommune
Abstract
I forbindelse med Åknes\/Tafjord-prosjektet har NGU gjort geofysiske målinger i borehull i Åknes, Stranda kommune. Området er definert som et mulig skredområde og ligger i en bratt fjellside på vestsiden av Synnulvsfjorden. Hensikten med målingene har vært å bidra med kartlegging av det rasfarlige områdets utbredelse og tykkelse for dermed å bidra til en bedre forståelse av konsekvensene ved et eventuelt ras.\rDet ble i 2006 boret tre nye hull for instrumentering og overvåkning. Før instrumentering kom på plass ble alle hullene logget. Det er tidligere gjort borehullslogging i tre hull som ble boret i 2005 (Rønning 2006). Det er også gjort geofysiske bakkemålinger, 2D resistivitet, georadar og seismikk (Rønning 2006).\rPå tross av problemer med ras og forskyvninger i borehullene har en fått logget alle hull. Ikke alle er logget i full lengde, men data er gode og vil gi et viktig bidrag for tolkning av hvordan det rasfarlige partiet opptrer. Vanntemperaturen, som er målt i hullene, ser ut til å være en viktig indikator for oppsprekkingen da denne ser ut til å ha sammenheng med vanngjennomstrømningen i fjellpartiet. Strømningsmålingene og indikasjoner av inn- og utstrømning ser ut til å samsvare med endringer i temperatur og ledningsevne på vannet.\rI områder med sterkt oppsprukket fjell er temperaturgradienten liten på grunn av vanngjennomstrømning. I massivt fjell øker temperaturen mot dypet som er det normale.\rSprekkesoner med indikert ut- eller innstrømning av vann blir også indikert med redusert resistivitet og lav seismisk hastighet. Tydelige sprekkesoner er indikert i bunnen av det som kan være det oppsprukne fjellpartiet. Dette partiet kan gå ned til 115 - 120 m. Under dette dyp er det ikke registrert oppsprekking av betydning.
