Frie emneord: Grain size ; Physical properties ; Seabed sediments ; Sediment density ; Geotechnical properties Seven gravity cores collected by FFI in the summer of 2003 have been profiled with the x-ray inspection system (XRI) and logged for P-wave velocity, bulk density and magnetic susceptibility using multi-sensor core logger (MSCL). Sediment cores were opened after these non-destructive analyses, sedimentologically described and undrained shear strength was measured on selected intervals. The cores were also subsampled for determining water content, wet density, dry density and grain-size characteristics.
