Georadarmålinger ved Bjorli og Lesjaskogsvatnet, Lesja kommune, Oppland
Abstract
Som et samarbeidsprosjekt mellom NGU og Høgskulen i Sogn og Fjordane er det utført georadarmålinger ved Bjorli og Lesjaskogsvatnet, Lesja kommune, Oppland. Målingene ble utført i forbindelse med generell kvartærgeologisk og hydrogeo- logisk kartlegging. Både ved Bjorli og Lesjaskogsvatnet ble det oppnådd data av god kvalitet. Opptakene viser stedvis detaljerte strukturer i elve- og breelvavsetninger. Disse strukturene er i opptakene indikert ved et hauget, kaotisk eller skrått refleksjonsmønster (der hauget mønster opptrer hyppigst). I følge et vanlig benyttet skjema som knytter hendelser i georadaropptak til avsetningstype og lagdeling, representerer de nevnte mønstre vesentlig sandige avsetninger (med eller uten grus). Dette er i overensstemmelse med resultater fra sonderboringer i området. Videre sees overflaten av eskere i noen opptak, og grunnvannsspeil kommer klart fra flere steder. Fjellreflektoren sees tydelig på de fleste opptak og indikerer at dyp til fjell kan være opptil 40-50 meter sentralt i dalen. Det er indikert gode muligheter for uttak av grunnvann langs de sentrale deler nær Rauma og Lesjaskogsvatnet.
