Georadarmålinger på Haslemoen, Våler kommune, Hedmark
Abstract
Som en del av et samarbeidsprosjekt mellom NGU, NTNF og NVE er det utført georadarmålinger på Haslemoen. Formålet med undersøkelsen var å få en økt forståelse for oppbygging av løsmasseavsetningene i området, til bruk ved modellering av grunnvannsstrømning. Bakgrunnen for denne interessen skyldes påvisning av en nitratplum som er dannet ved 'overdreven' gjødsling. Det er også tidligere utført georadarmålinger i området,men supplerende målinger er utført for å skaffe bedre datagrunnlag, samt for å undersøke metodiske forhold med georadaren i dette området. Målingene har i de fleste profiler gitt et detaljert bile av strukturer og lagdeling i løsmassene. Fjelloverflaten sees der denne ligger grunt (<25m). Det mest markante trekk i opptakene er en reflektor ved ca. 599 ns og som markerer toppen av en sekvens av parallelle reflektorer som trolig represent- erer laminasjon\/tynne lag av finsand\/silt. Over denne sekvensen er refleksjons- mønsteret kaotisk med stedvis kraftig reflektivitet. Dette indikerer sandige avsetninger med mulig kryss-sjikting. Mot nordøst blir refleksjonsmønsteret mer lagdelt, noe som trolig indikerer avtakende kornstørrelse i dette området. Nitratplumen er indikert langs ett profil som et område med sterkt redusert penetrasjon. Årsaken med problemer med stedvis kraftig reflektivitet er ukjent, men kan muligens skyldes 'ringing' fra grunne, kraftige reflektorer. Skrå hendelser i opptakene som skyldes refleksjoner gjennom luft, sees i et par profiler. Bortsett fra at kilden til refleksjonene ser ut til å være åpne områder i skogen, er årsaken til fenomenet ikke kjent.
